About the Show

New 'Cue is all about innovative creators in the barbecue world. Host Dale Talde heads out on the ultimate meaty road trip in search of the tastiest new ways pitmasters are using smoke and heat. It's the smokiest plunge into everything on the fringes of barbecue culture.

About the Host

Dale Talde

Dale Talde’s passion for cooking began at a young age in his native Chicago, where he learned to prepare meals alongside his mother in the kitchen. The proud son of Filipino immigrants, he grew up immersed in his family’s cultural heritage, while also enjoying the life of a typical American kid. Dale applies this distinct Asian-American experience to the menu of his eponymous restaurant, Talde, which first opened in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood in 2012. Talde now has multiple locations, including Jersey City, New Jersey, and Miami. Dale and his partners at Three Kings Restaurant Group (TKRG), David Massoni and John Bush, debuted their first project in Manhattan with the opening of Massoni in the Arlo NoMad Hotel. The group opened Atlantic Social in Brooklyn and plans to open The Crown, rooftop bar and lounge, in the 50 Bowery Hotel in New York City’s Chinatown. The team will also open Rice & Gold and The Green Lady in the hotel. Dale is the host of Food Network’s digital original series New 'Cue. He has previously competed on Chopped, Iron Chef America, Top Chef and Knife Fight. He was also a guest judge on both Chopped Junior and Beat Bobby Flay, as well as head judge on Knife Fight, Season 4. In September 2015, Grand Central Publishing released Dale’s first cookbook, Asian-American, to rave reviews.
